Dr. Urshan is the owner and founder of BioCell Health Group. Whether you are from around the corner or from around the world, Dr. Urshan’s proprietary functional medicine programs are transforming lives. The specificity of the programs is designed to help precisely determine an exact plan for the patient for simple and exact action steps so that you can overcome your weight loss, hormone, and health challenges.
Dr. Urshan, a proud Florida native began his journey in functional medicine with the influence of his mom who is a 35-year cancer survivor. Today she is as healthy as ever and is a strong, lean, active and an advocate of a healthy lifestyle. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida and received his doctorate at Parker Chiropractic University.
Dr. Urshan practiced and opened two clinics in Southern Guerrero, Mexico where he met his wife Martha, and they have been happily married for 20 years. His marriage was a package deal, and along with his wife came her gorgeous Dalmatian “Tara”. They have since added a their “Mayan” Lab “Lua”, also from Mexico.
More than anything, Dr. Urshan and his wife Martha are passionate about helping others live healthier, better-quality lives in our community and around the world. His functional health and weight loss centers are allowing him to do just that and in a big way! People all over the country are losing dramatic amounts of weight, getting off medication, learning principles of good health, and living their lives restored and transformed because of their and specific wellness and weight loss programs.
All of this is just the beginning. He is constantly hard at work to help people live better, healthier lives.
Dr. Sosa is Board Certified in both Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. He attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI as an undergraduate, and the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. He completed 3 years of general surgery residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac, MI, and 2 years of Family Medicine residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI.
Dr. Sosa is the supervising physician at BioCell Health Group. Dr. Sosa is devoted to health optimization, longevity, and aesthetics. He was in the inaugural class to become Board Certified by the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine in 2017.
He is a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Spa Association, and the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery.
Daniel Manning, a retired U.S. Navy hospital corpsman and Gulf War veteran, is an adult/gerontology primary care nurse practitioner, whose clinical focus is on taking care of patients from adolescence into adulthood and old age with an emphasis on preventing illnesses and promoting health. He specializes in peripheral neuropathy and men’s health at Biocell Health Group. He earned his Master of Science degree at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.
He is nationally board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in adult/gerontology.
